This little man is powerful and easy to use. My experience with both desktop PCs and the transition was very smooth. I am satisfied with the quality of graphics and ease of use. Exceeds my expectations. An excellent buy. But I'm 67 and the eyes of a larger screen. My next purchase will be a full size notebook, one of the largest screens I can. Yet I am glad I bought the first Netbook. I find myself reaching more and more.

I have the unit for more than two months, and find the perfect place for the use I intended it to be. If you are looking for a fully functioning travel lite reactive netbook look no further. I removed all the software that came with machince MS Works. I added the MS Office Visio Professional Plus and antivirus and adware software currently on my desk. The response is very fast wifi and webcam with the addition of the Skype software is very good. No problem with the connection at any hotspot. Throw a MS Optical Mouse ($ 20) and a Targus bag for 10-11 "netbooks ($ 20 at Office Depot or Amazon, and you have an office that travels at three pounds.

After much research, I bought the Asus Eee PC 1000 netbook HE. I wanted a small laptop to use for travel, take notes in meetings, e-mail and research network. The Asus is marginal. The Asus is easy to travel with because of its size and the e-mail works great. However, the keyboard is too small to take notes accurately. To make matters worse, I bought the suite of Microsoft, which was loaded on netbooks. Now, every time I open Word, I get a message that I need to buy Microsoft's new suite. This interferes with my note at the beginning of the meeting.

This netbook is perfect for doing a job on a plane or in a bar.
I noticed no difference in performance with a full-size notebooks, when you're doing word processing or web browsing tasks.
Some negative points:
- The keyboard could be greater, as in a similar HP Mini 110 netbook
- Images in a browser and Windows viewers look stretched. Research the problem I discovered that this is a problem with the ratio of 1.78:1 instead of 1.7:1 for 10 "netbooks.

This machine was absent from the Amazon and the XP disk backup software Samsung is halfway to a DVD with an external disk. Half an hour with the support webchat Samsung and now they are mailing me a backup disk of XP.
Now I have a machine that does not work - is terribly slow, even after updating 1.2 gigs of RAM, crashes Open Office is a program running some ghost that can not be detained in custody, has difficulty waking up and assorted annoying problems are added to the box from the worst computing experience I had after buying a Dell over a decade ago.

All this is just a lack of RJ-11 in order. While traveling outside the country, I need RJ-11 connector instead of RJ-45 in some countries. Now I have a mini-modem for Internet usage buy.

This is a great little netbook. It 'very light, has a bright screen, and given the fast CPU and RAM. The only drawback I see is not the expandable memory. Several people have asked for an update service centers, but the center of the United States told me that it is not expandable.
