” In comparison to my HP Mini 2133 this is better, I would say much better if the screen resolution wasn’t lower, and if the anti-glare screen didn’t give the screen a dirty and crystaline coated look.
Those who watch movies on this and act like it’s great - I don’t get it. When I first took it out of the box and removed the protective film I could sense it was going to look odd just seeing the blurry built in lcd cover. Interestingly, it’s screen size is larger than the HP Mini 2133, and it’s easier, ironically, to read the text and find icons on it, where on the 2133 it’s cramped and you have to strain on it’s highest resolution. The 2133 LCD also looks amazingly yellow compared to this one. I didn’t even realize the 2133 had a yellow tinge till using this one. The keyboard feel is way better the 2133 which has an annoying teeter-totter feeling and even looks like it, strangely, for me, even at night without any other light than from the lcd, its harder to see than the 2133’s keyboard, even though the 110’s has white lettering. I don’t like the leds, they are ugly and you can’t turn them off and makes cruddy movie watching more cruddy.
Update: I would lower my rating by two stars since I’ve experienced that slight pressure of your palm on the forward edge of this netbook causes the cursor to jump around wildly, and it happens all the time, even when I was typing this update.
Hopefully, by early next year there will be a superior OLED screen version of these netbooks with 4GB ram and 9 cell capacity, a dual core atom, USB3, the next generation of expresscard slots (the current standard is horrible and was why I got a 2133 in the first place), better bluetooth tech, camera resolution that is at least a little better than what comes with most netbooks now, and on the top of my wishlist: a backlit keyboard with brightness and color control. If only that wasn’t a probably five months away! “
