One thing about buying your first notebook, laptop or desktop replacement is that you never go through the experience again. By the way, there is a difference between a notebook and a laptop? It may be used, but from what I saw on the market have, these two terms were thrown around in a meaningless soup. Do not give a second thought - if you're buying one for the first time, you have to take care of things better. I call them notebooks.

Processor

The processor in your laptop have much influence on how you play your games. We have to be a fairly fast processor able to run the latest games in good quality. I would be a dual-core processor, recommended as an Intel CoreDuo or Intel Core 2 Duo, if you can get your hands on that. They should also ensure that the processor with a speed of at least 2.0 GHz or so.
