Abstract: E-mail was invented before the Internet, and grew with the Internet over six orders of magnitude. E-mail service is to have gone from a small community of highly technical colleagueseverywhere, even for people who are not tech-savvy. It has evolved from a small change, non-profit service for a billion-dollar business. But e-mail has not been without growing pains. Spam, viruses and phishing are just two examples of malware that has not even exist, was born when e-mail. E-mail has both business and social life changed in ways both good and bad. Some of these pressures have pushed to users by e-mail to instant messaging and social networking. Today, research and development isE-mail is to focus on the control, either on-the-wire "(anti-spam, protect against data loss, etc.) or directly to the user (such as mobile access or manage information overload).
