Samsung N150 10.1-Inch Red Netbook - Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life Review

Samsung N150 10.1-Inch Red Netbook - Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life
I ordered this computer last week and have been very happy with it. I use it for video chatting, internet, and word processing. The Windows 7 Starter is nice and it gives you Word for 60 days for free. The webcam is nice and does the job on skype. I picked this netbook over others because of the keyboard. The keys are a bit more separated than other netbooks which I loved. I’ve had no trouble typing at all. The computer picked up my wireless internet right off of the bat, better than my old laptop did. The battery life is awesome…I have to plug it in every couple of days but that’s it. The screen does take a little getting use to as I’ve had to zoom in a few times to really see something when I’m online shopping, but I’d rather have that then be carrying around a huge heavy laptop with a shorter battery life.

Laptops are small and great help for many people. But many of the laptops are not that small, powerful and easy. Not every laptop is possible to take with you on the road.
Samsung Company has ever created one of the cheapest laptops. The Samsung Q1 Ultra Q1U-XP is a Windows XP Tablet light weighs less than 2 pounds (ultra -), has a large display, large hard drive detected, with 802.11b / g Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 10 / 100 Ethernet was recentlypresented on the market.

Samsung N150 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life Review

Samsung N150 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life
I’ve rolled out three of these netbooks for work, the following are my observations of this model.

Pros
+ Virtually silent fan. I’ve set up an Acer netbook that had a fan that sounded like a mosquito so the quiet fan on this model is a plus.
+ Great construction quality. The plastics are very high quality.
+ Excellent keyboard. The keys are the right size (especially the right shift key which is a problem with other brands), and it’s very easy to type on with just a minimal adjustment period.
+ Matte screen (personal preference, but many of my users prefer matte screens as they are easier on the eyes and you can use matte screens outdoors without too much difficulty).

Samsung NC10-11GP 10.2-Inch Pink Netbook - 6 Cell Battery Review

Samsung NC10-11GP 10.2-Inch Pink Netbook - 6 Cell Battery
Owned my NC10 about year now. It was shipped to me with a somewhat annoying manufacture defect (google for “nc10 lcd blotches”) I lived with it but just before the warranty ran I decided to get it fixed. The Samsung web site for opening a service request really sucked (it had bugs and did not work no matter which browser I tried to use) however there was option to chat with a service rep and they were great. Opened a ticket for me. Emailed me shipping label. I shipped my laptop in (Samsung paid both ways) and a week later got it back with LCD replaced. It is in great shape now. Very glad I went with Samsung for the warranty service. btw: The LCD defect only affected early units shipped in late 2008.

Samsung NC10-14GW 10.2-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, 6 Cell Battery, XP Home) White Review

Samsung NC10-14GW 10.2-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, 6 Cell Battery, XP Home) White
I’ve been using the NC-10 for about 2 months and I must say that this little computer was really a nice aquisition for a number of reasons.
1- Well built, light weight and nice look
2- good battery life: using for internet surfing with wi-fi for around 5-6 hours
3- Really nice keyboard: good touch feeling, easy do get used, almost the desktop size.
Of course there are the two known problems: the bright outside finish that get covered by finger prints and the small touchpad. I found no solution to avoid the finger prints on the nice bright blue cover… beauty comes with a price. But the infinite scroll feature (making continuous clockwise rotation on the touchpad after using the scroll side of it) can be used to compensate its size.

Samsung N130-13B 10.1-Inch Slate Blue Netbook - Up to 5.8 Hours of Battery Life Review

Samsung N130-13B 10.1-Inch Slate Blue Netbook - Up to 5.8 Hours of Battery Life
Purchased this netbook from Amazon Monday evening and received it on Thursday; fast shipping Amazon. This is a super netbook for 9.99. Color is matte blue and white which shows no fingerprints. Actually like the color better than I thought I would. Build quality is solid as you would expect from Samsung. Screen is matte not glossy which I also like. Very little bloatware to remove. I bought this for my wife who travels and has to give powerpoint presentations. Needless to say she loves this little thing. It will certainly make her travel easier, as this netbook is so small and light(2.8 Lbs). It is a simple netbook; doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles, like bluetooth, 1.3 camera, etc. The wifi card found my AT&T Uverse device quickly, so I was on the internet immediately. Battery life is as advertised; it took me about 6 hours to run it down from initial full charge. Wife likes the touchpad, too; I use the usb mouse. If you want a solid, simple netbook with middle of the road battery life, you will like this little gem.
Out of the box, fully charge the battery(light on left front edge of netbook will go from orange to green when fully charged). Next boot up and it will lead you quickly through windows XP installation. Then configure it with programs like you want it. Then enjoy. It is a great product and a steal at this price.
